We have been busy on the road since the last alert, we have done theme days in schools, and been on a nationwide Cocoa Tour. The Photography Project got off to a gittery start, but it will be coming back strong later this month, if your 11 - 16 and your into photography and human rights then get interested.
This year we have barely been able to contain our growth, our expenditure has more than doubled this year along with our employees, including a new face in fundraising since the last alert. Best of all we are doing more work than ever and our message is reaching more and more young people, we are excited and scared about what’s coming next, we desperately need your support, please visit our donations page where you can now donate online courtesy of the Co-operative Bank and Charity Choice, why not encourage a friend to get involved as well.
We have got our heads together and are writing more articles which should keep you tanked up on inspiration. We are also getting into blogging as you may have noticed of late we also have a group on flickr and it's all in aid of helping you to better access Jae and keep up with what we are up to, so please comment on the blogs and flickr, we are looking forward to a new commenting system for our website and we have also entered the world of rss with feeds for our articles and our news so now you can subscribe to our feeds in your favourite reader send us your feedback to this alert by hitting reply on your email, it doesn't get easier than that! Summer at Jae means locking ourselves in small, dark rooms and getting creative! We will be furiously writing and planning and scheming, no beach balls or ethical holidays for us! We have many plans for next year including a new pricing system for schools to access Jae, using an Open Source business model to increase distribution and build a community of people passionate about delivering engaging development education.
